Dryandra Forest
This was the coldest part of our trip with frost on some of the mornings (28-31 July).
It was winter in the South West but even so there were a few flowers (including the dyrandra) in bloom.
The most amazing sight was the five echidnas moving at high speed (for echidnas). They paid very little attention to us.
I had read about it but it was the first time I had seen an "echidna train".
Afterwards we walked the Ochre Trail with Andy and Gordon ...
